Lord Surya is among the Surya Panch Devatas. Bhagwan Surya exists as a soul in all living beings. He is considered similar to Narayan, hence, he is also called Surya Narayan. There is a reference to them in Devta. These are the gods of all the eight constellations, It is said that those people who chant Surya Gayatri Mantra regularly do not face any problem.
