In our Punanas, if the sages have emphasized on Lakshmi Sadhana, then they have not neglected Kuber Sadhana under any circumstances. The logic behind this is that if the person desires abundant blessings from Goddess Lakshmi, then he has to please Kubera by worshiping him so that he always keeps his blessings on the person. The idea behind this concept is that just as water, fire, air etc. are controlled by different gods, similarly wealth is controlled by Kuber.
